Three Hardware Suppliers Gain Exposure to AI Data-Center Expansion, With Different Risks

AI infrastructure demand is extending beyond processors to the circuit boards, cooling systems and structural components used inside servers and networking equipment. Three companies highlighted for that exposure are South Korea’s ISU Petasys, China’s Lingyi iTech and Taiwan’s Tripod Technology.

ISU Petasys makes ultra-high-layer printed circuit boards for servers, storage, networking equipment, supercomputers and other electronics. The company’s business also spans production and sales operations in Korea, China, the United States and Thailand.

Its AI-terminal products generated about 44. 4 billion yuan in revenue, while automotive and low-altitude-economy products contributed roughly 5. 3 billion yuan; overseas customers accounted for about 37. 3 billion yuan.

Tripod Technology produces printed circuit boards for servers, data-center hardware, memory modules and consumer electronics. The company said AI servers and high-speed networking are among the applications supporting demand across the PCB industry.

The three businesses offer different ways to participate in the same hardware buildout. ISU Petasys and Tripod are concentrated in printed circuit boards, while Lingyi iTech adds exposure to cooling and structural hardware. That concentration also leaves them sensitive to input costs, cash conversion, valuation and the pace at which data-center investment becomes orders and profit.

The companies’ next financial reports and operating updates will show whether demand for AI-related servers and networking equipment is translating into sustained revenue growth, improving margins and stronger cash generation. Those measures will be important because exposure to the data-center supply chain does not by itself establish that every supplier will benefit equally.
