Enterprise Products Partners, Energy Transfer and MPLX are being highlighted for their distribution yields, coverage ratios and exposure to pipelines, natural gas and related infrastructure. The three midstream partnerships could generate about $2,068 in annual income from a $10,000 investment in each, based on the cited forward yields.
It has raised its distribution for 28 consecutive years, while its pipelines, Permian Basin gas-processing facilities and liquefied natural gas export terminals provide exposure to rising natural-gas demand from artificial-intelligence data centers.
It recently increased its payout by more than 3%, marking its 19th consecutive quarterly increase, and plans to raise distributions by 3% to 5% annually over the long term.
The partnership transports crude oil, natural gas and natural-gas liquids, and no single business segment contributes more than 30% of adjusted EBITDA. Its 442-mile Hugh Brinson Pipeline is operating between West Texas processing facilities and existing pipelines south of Dallas-Fort Worth. A second phase involving additional downstream compression is expected to enter service in the first quarter of 2027.
More than 90% of MPLX's growth capital this year is allocated to its natural-gas and natural-gas-liquids businesses. Its Harmon Creek III processing plant began operating in August 2026, while expansions of the Belvieu Alternative Natural Gas Liquids pipeline and Delaware sour-gas treating facilities are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter.
