Palantir Technologies led 22 stocks added Monday to watchlists tracking growth, sector leadership, large-cap momentum, recent initial public offerings and potential breakouts.
The changes, dated Oct. 19, 2026, affected screens including the IBD 50, Sector Leaders, Big Cap 20 and IPO Leaders. The methodology weighs earnings, sales, relative price strength and other fundamental and technical measures associated with stocks that have historically performed well early in major advances.
They had traded as low as $63. 40 in mid-January 2025, while Palantir’s Composite Rating and EPS Rating were both listed at 99.
The additions came as artificial-intelligence and software shares sought to recover from a recent selloff dubbed the “SaaSpocalypse, ” referring to pressure across software-as-a-service stocks. The watchlists are screening tools rather than automatic buy signals, and the guidance accompanying the changes urged investors to conduct their own research and evaluate broader market conditions and timing.
The IBD 50 contains 50 growth companies selected for price strength and fundamental quality. Sector Leaders covers top growth stocks across 33 sectors, Big Cap 20 focuses on highly rated large-cap growth companies, and IPO Leaders screens newer public companies for strong fundamental and technical traits. Another list tracks stocks with strong fundamentals that are approaching potential breakouts.
