Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP are trading near potential support areas after a sharp correction, but none has produced a confirmed bottom. The moves followed a broad deterioration in digital-asset sentiment and left all three below important short-term trend levels.
Bitcoin is holding above its 100-day exponential moving average near $77,825 and its 200-day average around $76,484. Those levels form the nearest technical floor, while resistance sits near the 50-day average at roughly $80,295 and a SuperTrend level around $83,470. Bitcoin’s relative-strength index was near 39 and its moving-average convergence-divergence reading remained negative, indicating weak momentum even though the price was still above longer-term averages.
Ethereum’s recovery is more fragile. The token has moved up from support around $2,200 but remains below its 200-day average near $2,317, its 100-day average around $2,353 and its 50-day average near $2,417. A broken rising trendline near $2,335 adds another barrier. Momentum indicators remain bearish, although the RSI’s recovery from oversold conditions and a reduction in MACD losses suggest that selling pressure has eased without establishing a reversal.
The RSI was near 37 and MACD remained below zero, while the available daily indicators did not identify a clear support level beneath the current price.
Market confidence was also weakened by the reported $6. 3 billion Binance security breach. The Fear & Greed Index stood at 37, in fear territory, compared with 34 the previous day, 50 a week earlier and 67 in the previous month. The combined evidence points to tentative stabilization rather than a confirmed floor: Bitcoin has defined nearby moving-average support, Ethereum remains exposed below several trend barriers, and XRP needs to reclaim its resistance cluster before a stronger recovery case emerges.
