Strategy’s board has conditionally declared a cash dividend for every calendar day in November on its STRC preferred stock, with payments scheduled to begin Nov. The plan would maintain STRC’s annualized dividend rate at 12%, producing total November distributions of $1 per share if approved and implemented.
The payments depend on shareholder approval at a special meeting scheduled for Oct. 28 and the timely filing and effectiveness of amended STRC designation documents. If both conditions are met, each dividend will be payable on the next business day after its record date. Weekend and holiday record dates will be grouped into the next available payment date, while the previously declared Nov. 15 dividend would not be paid. If the conditions fail, the daily dividends will not take effect and the Nov. 15 payment will remain payable instead.
Strategy has said it plans to keep recommending the 12% rate until STRC shows sustained, healthy trading near its $100 stated amount. The proposed schedule changes the timing of distributions rather than the stated annual rate, with daily payments generally ranging from 3 to 4 cents per share.
The decision comes as Strategy manages STRC alongside its broader Bitcoin treasury and capital-markets programs.
The shareholder vote will determine whether STRC moves from its current semi-monthly structure to daily record dates beginning Nov. Strategy has also proposed extending daily dividends to its STRF, STRK and STRD preferred stocks, with those changes slated to begin in 2027 if approved and made effective.
