Oct 30 news: As of Oct 30, SMM data showed China's social inventory of aluminum ingots across three regions at 409,000 mt, flat from the previous trading day, with the prior destocking taking a pause. By region, Gongyi saw a notable decline to 118,000 mt (-4,000 mt), while Guangdong at 116,500 mt (+500 mt) and Wuxi at 174,500 mt (+3,500 mt) both posted inventory buildup, deepening regional divergence. Overall, increased arrivals in east China and stronger cargo pick-up in central China kept the three-region total stable, but structural divergence was pronounced.
